Buy, Borrow or Repair a Bike
Read advice from BikePGH about how to buy, build or borrow a bike. Need something for a short trip around town? Learn more about CMU's partnership with POGOH bikeshare, which provides faculty, staff and students unlimited 30-minute rides on any POGOH pedal or e-assist bike. Bike rentals, sales and repair services are also available at CMU's student-led on-campus bike shop, Tartan Bike Project.
Discounts on the purchase of Velotric e-bikes are available to CMU community members through Velotric's partnership discount program [pdf].

Confident City Cycling Classes
Learn how to ride on city streets safely and with confidence! The Confident City Cycling class will help riders with bike handling, navigating different kinds of streets and intersections, the best ways to move through traffic, and more. With the help of BikePGH, Carnegie Mellon and the University of Pittsburgh are offering special classes open to these universities only, conveniently located near the Pitt Bike Cave in Oakland. Keep an eye on our news page or join our email list to learn about upcoming dates.

Interested in learning how to ride on city streets with a group of your classmates or colleagues? Email bicycling@andrew.cmu.edu to ask about a custom, private class at a date/time that works best for your group.
