PRT Changes for CMU

Starting April 6, CMU faculty, staff and students not graduating in May must use the PRT Ready2Ride mobile app to ride Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) buses, light rail and inclines for free, instead of a CMU ID card. Students scheduled to graduate in May 2026 may continue to use their CMU ID cards to board PRT until May 31. Download the app and set up your CMU account today!
