CMU's evening/overnight transit service, previously known as our escort shuttle service, now has a new name — NightSafe Transit. It continues to provide the same free late-night transportation for benefits-eligible faculty, staff and students from campus to the Oakland, Shadyside and Squirrel Hill neighborhoods.

To use the NightSafe Transit service, determine which zone you reside in and use the schedule to find out when NightSafe buses are servicing your zone. Then wait at one of the pickup locations at the appointed time for the appropriate NightSafe bus. To board, tap your CMU ID and tell the driver the intersection for your stop. Shuttles run from 6:30 p.m. to 4:15 a.m.
