Bio
Aluna Wang worked at the lab from 2018 to 2021. Aluna graduated with a PhD degree and joined HEC Paris as an Assistant Professor of Accounting and Management Control and she is a CIA credential holder. She is also a chairholder at Hi! Paris Center on Artificial Intelligence and a co-holder of the ACPR (Banque de France) Chair in Regulation and Systemic Risk. Aluna’s research interests include the role of disclosure and transparency in financial markets, the impact of financial regulation, and corporate governance. Aluna is invested in developing and deploying machine learning-based tools to improve our understanding of accounting data and provide intelligent solutions to real-world challenges facing business professionals in our rapidly changing digital landscape. She also investigates how digital transformations and technological innovations shape the information environment and organizations. Prior to joining the faculty of HEC Paris, Aluna was a PwC Presidential Fellow at the Digital Transformation and Innovation Center sponsored by PwC. She received her PhD and MS in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University in the United States.
