"Why Go??": Traveling With Osher at CMU
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute recently initiated the development of a travel program for our members. We are excited that two small-group trips are scheduled. The first is a trip to Portugal. Only 8 seats are left. For those that are waffling on their decision to go with us, we have spelled out a couple of reasons to come along.
This first trip is a small-group adventures for no more than 24 travelers. Small-group trips are designed for the independent traveler who want to experience a more personalized trip that is organized by an experienced professional tour operator. Collette was picked because of their understanding of the Osher organizations as they have conducted travel programs for many of the Osher organizations across the Osher network with wonderful reviews.
For the initial trip the Collette “Small Group Explorations” program was selected. Collette expertly planned and will lead these adventures, featuring immersive cultural and culinary experiences, opportunities to connect with local people and guides, along with stays at distinctive hotels.
While small group tours may come at a higher cost, the freedom, flexibility, and camaraderie they offer allow travelers to engage in a wider variety of cultural, educational, and recreational activities that larger groups cannot provide. This trip is designed to deliver a higher level of value, which doesn’t necessarily equate to the lowest price. The balance of quality and service relative to cost is a crucial factor for each traveler to consider.
As a potential traveler, review the itineraries, the selected destinations, transportation elements, airfare inclusion, hotel choices, cultural and recreational activities. Please also view the orientation session link to learn more: Click here for the video!
Ultimately, the best value lies in the priceless experience of traveling with like-minded individuals, providing a compelling answer to the question, “Why Go?”
