Join us for an informative presentation where you'll learn about the history of Alzheimer’s disease, what dementia is, and the different types. We'll cover common warning signs of Alzheimer's Disease, ways to lower risk, and the latest updates on diagnosis, treatment, and care. The session will end with time for questions and answers.

As Director of the Center for Healthy Aging and Innovation, Joe Gaugler, PhD, leads efforts to advance the well-being of older adults. He is also the Director of the CDC-funded BOLD Public Health Center of Excellence on Dementia Caregiving and the NIA-funded EMBRACE Alzheimer's and Dementia Caregiving Research Centers. Joe’s passion for supporting families and improving dementia care drives his research, where he focuses on innovative solutions for caregiving challenges. Alongside his work, he edits The Gerontologist, a leading journal in aging research. Through his leadership and dedication, Joe continues to make a lasting impact on dementia care and healthy aging.
