Carnegie Mellon University's Deeper Conversation initiative presents: Mapping the History of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict

Laurie Z. Eisenberg, teaching professor emerita in CMU's Department of History, will provide an overview of the history of the movement of borders and populations in the region that is now Israel and Palestine from the 1880s until the present day. Using maps, she will address issues leading up to the current Israel-Hamas war.
This event is part of Carnegie Mellon University’s Deeper Conversations initiative and the Academic Series on the Historical and Political Context of the Israel-Hamas War, presented by the Dietrich and Heinz colleges.
