Green Dot — In-Person Training Starting Again!

Green Dot at CMU is excited to share the schedule of programs for the fall semester, including the first in-person trainings in nearly two years.

  • Staff/Faculty Virtual Bystander Basics — October 14, 10–11:30 a.m.
  • Student Advanced Bystander Skills — October 22, 4–9 p.m.
  • Staff/Faculty Advanced Bystander Skills — November 5, 9 a.m.–noon

What is Green Dot? Green Dot is the university’s bystander intervention strategy that aims to reduce the number of people in our campus community harmed by dating violence, stalking and sexual assault.

Audience sizes for in-person trainings will be limited to help promote participant safety in line with ongoing COVID-19 mitigation requirements. So, if you want to attend in person, please register early.

For more information about upcoming programs and to register, visit the Green Dot website. Registration links for both virtual and in-person sessions are at the bottom of the website under the Green Dot Training section.
