Community Leadership Course for Veterans™

The Community Leadership Course for Veterans™ (CLCV™) is a nationally recognized program offered by Leadership Pittsburgh Inc. to develop the potential of post-9/11 veterans for the benefit of the greater Pittsburgh region. The six-month course offers veterans an opportunity to learn more about the community and develop their leadership skills through meeting and interacting with local business and community leaders. The course meets bi-weekly and covers a broad range of topics that help participants grasp a better understanding of the local business landscape as well as grow their local networks.

Application Process and Program Cost

CLCV™ applications are due in mid-February for the cohort that begins each May. Applications are reviewed by a selection committee during the months of March and April with accepted applicants being notified by mid-April. In addition to the application, at least two letters of recommendation are strongly recommended from individuals that are familiar with the applicant's abilities and skills.

A tuition fee of $300 is required after acceptance into the program. Tuition assistance/scholarships are available.
