
Alisa Omelchenko receives travel award for St. Jude hackathon
CPCB student Alisa Omelchenko recently received a travel award to attend St. Jude Children's Research Hospital KIDS25 biohackathon. She and her team built a tool called MolSnap, which won Most Technically Impressive Project out of more than 20 projects!MolSnap digitizes molecular structures directly from the scientific literature, allowing researchers from any discipline to easily and quickly perform what is otherwise a manual and time-consuming task.
