Technology, Law, and Democracy

Course Number: 84-331

We are living through a technology revolution that is reshaping politics, economics, and social relations. Democracies and institutions are  being challenged on how to respond and regulate these new social forces. Policy communities are struggling to create new legal frameworks and regulatory regimes  both at the national and international levels. The seminar will explore how these tensions are challenging our democratic principles and values.
