Bio
Caroline Fixter is a junior majoring in Political Science, Security, and Technology who is passionate about politics, public policy, national security, and the intersection of technology and government.
Outside the classroom, Caroline is a member of the women’s golf team and has conducted research on international politics as a research assistant at Carnegie Mellon’s Institute for Strategy and Technology. She was also selected as a Friedman Fellow, supporting her internship in Washington, DC, and as one of seven students chosen to participate in Carnegie Mellon’s IMPAQT program, where she traveled to Qatar to strengthen connections across CMU’s global campuses and gain a deeper understanding of international collaboration.
As a student writer, Caroline enjoys exploring political issues, campus life, and global affairs while making complex topics accessible and engaging. She looks forward to sharing thoughtful, well-researched stories that inform and connect with the Carnegie Mellon community.
