Carnegie Mellon University

Academic Affairs

Mission Statement

The Academic Affairs Committee works towards bettering the student academic experience on campus. Our goal is to promote a rigorous, inclusive, and enriching education while also deeply prioritizing student health and wellbeing. We work with numerous university administrators, including the Provost, the Registrar, and the Vice Provost for Education. We also sit on several campus-wide committees to give undergraduate student input on relevant topics such as the academic calendar, curriculum, and grading.

In every aspect of our work, we take into account student input and feedback. We value a diverse set of perspectives. Please feel free to contact us at senate-aa@andrew.cmu.edu with anything you would like us to know. Our weekly meetings are open to all members of the Carnegie Mellon community.
