We encourage all Carnegie Mellon employees to foster personal and career growth by attending at least one Learning and Development seminar per semester. Most seminars are offered at no cost to employees and typically last two to four hours. Programs are designed to provide practical tips that can be applied immediately, and cover a variety of topics:

  • Leadership Development—achieving results, leading people, respecting self and others
  • Professional Development—developing functional skills
  • Personal Development—developing life skills and achieving work/life balance
  • HR Systems, Oracle Systems and Procurement Training

ADA Accommodations

If you require an accommodation to participate in a Learning and Development seminar, contact LDhelp@andrew.cmu.edu at least three weeks prior to the program, even if you have been placed on the waiting list.
