ModCloth Quickly Becoming The Next Big Thing

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Some Carnegie Mellon University graduates are taking the fashion world by storm.

In fact, some are calling their business the “next big thing.”

The company is called ModCloth and it was co-founded by two Carnegie Mellon students in their dorm room.

They are still in their 20s and the company has revenues of over $100 million.

Eric and Susan Koger were high school sweethearts. Now, they are young entrepreneurs who started an online vintage women’s clothing store growing by double digits each year.

Eric tends to focus on the technology and financial side, while Susan oversees the clothes that attract so many women in their 20s, 30s, and 40s.

“I want our customers to feel like she’s the very best version of herself. So, when you shop at ModCloth, it’s not necessarily buying into the ModCloth look or fitting like the ModCloth point of view. But, it’s taking ModCloth’s pieces and working it into your own wardrobe and your own sense of style,” Susan said.
