Current List of Official Licensed Suppliers

The companies listed below have been granted trademark licensing agreements giving them permission to use our logos for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2023 and some through the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.

Some of Carnegie Mellon University's trademark licensed suppliers (licensees) sell merchandise to our on campus University Store, others only to campus administrative and academic colleges, schools, departments, and student organizations while others sell to on-line and off-campus retailers.

Licensees are listed in alpha order by their commonly known name though a cross reference is also available below if a licensee is “Doing Business As” (d.b.a.), “Also Known As” (AKA) another name or a "Division of" a company. Following each licensees' name is the date they were granted their first license from the Trademark Licensing Office at Carnegie Mellon University. See the side panel for helpful links.

The following official licensed promotional product distributors and the Carnegie Mellon University owned and operated University Store can source items such as coffee mugs, pens, apparel of all types, banners, caps, stickers, and higher price point gifts appropriate for retirements, guest speakers, VIP visitors, and graduation. An additional list of licensees capable of screen printed and embroidered garments is included.

PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS aka Advertising Speciality Products

A promotional product supplier may also be know as a promotional product distributor, and an advertising special company. They can source very expensive gift type products to foam stress balls, and everything else imaginable. Some of these licensees sell promotional products which you may know or have been told are a source for gifts, swag, give-away product, fundraising products, or "merch".

Products may be decorated through the following processes: screen printed, etched, embroidered, dyed, imprinted, embossed, or something different

These licensees have been granted permission to sell approved merchandise to the on-campus community for internal use (not for resale). Licensees with headquarters in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area are designated with the word "local" after their name.

Each licensee below was granted a trademark license to supply approved merchandise to the on-campus community for internal use (not for resale).
