Osher at CMU Board Approves Budget for 2026-2027 Fiscal Year

The Board has officially approved the Finance Committee's proposed budget for the upcoming 2026–2027 fiscal year.

Key changes to the budget include the elimination of a part-time paid staff position and a few fee increases:

  • The prospect term registration fee will increase from $95 to $105, effective for the Fall 2026 term.
  • The per-course fee for classes held at facilities that charge rental fees will increase from $10 to $20, effective for the Fall 2026 term.
  • The membership term registration fee will rise from $60 to $70 per term, effective for the Spring 2027 term.

These adjustments represent the first fee increases since January 1, 2019, marking over seven years without changes to registration costs.  The annual membership dues of $100.00 will not change.  This decision comes in response to rising operational costs and a decline in membership attributed to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Further information about these changes can be found in the June Board Highlights found on the website.  The Board has emphasized the need for these adjustments to ensure the sustainability of our operations moving forward.
