Lisa Oguike, is a sophomore from Lagos, Nigeria studying both International Relations and Politics and Engineering in Public Policy. She is passionate about sustainable international development, gender & racial equity and international politics. Outside of academics, she is involved in groups and organizations within two broad categories. With the institution, she is a student senator and member of the Dietrich Dean's subcommittee on diversity and the University's Academic Review/Disciplinary Board. In line with her interests, she is on the Model UN and Moot court teams, as well as a member of the National Society of Black Engineers, Pre-Law Society, Young African Leaders Association on campus and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. Lisa spent the past summer serving as the government affairs intern to Mayor Bill Peduto in the City of Pittsburgh and this will be her second semester in the CIRP Lab.
