Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD)-HR @ Carnegie Mellon University - Carnegie Mellon University

Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD)

The sixth Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) took place on May 18, 2017. The purpose of GAAD is to get people talking, thinking and learning about digital (web, software, mobile, etc.) accessibility and users with different disabilities.

We encourage the CMU community to participate annually in GAAD through in-person or virtual events, experiencing accessibility first-hand, contributing to the digital accessibility effort, or learning about CMU's research about accessibility.
