Bio

Sankalp Naik is a master’s student in Artificial Intelligence and Electrical & Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, where he is a Student Researcher in the NEXUS Lab. His work focuses on hardware–software co-design, with particular interest in compiler technologies for machine learning, aiming to build efficient and scalable ML systems.

He earned his B.Tech in Electrical and Communication Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur in 2022, graduating first in his department and receiving the Visvesvaraya National Institute Medal. Prior to graduate school, he accumulated three years of industry experience at Oracle as an Applications Developer, where he was recognized as an Oracle Pace Setter for high-impact contributions.
