Tong starts internship at Qualcomm
PhD student Tong Wu has been selected for Qualcomm Fellowship with a Fall 2025 internship with Qualcomm for the AI Inference Accelerator Architecture Modeling (Hardware) position. This role focuses on modelling hardware components for AI inference accelerators, including interconnects, memory hierarchies and controllers to evaluate architectures for large language models. Tong’s doctoral research centers on device and circuit co-design, and this opportunity will provide hands-on experience in advanced architecture modeling, further supporting his academic and professional development at Carnegie Mellon.
