B2 Mentors
Our 46 B2 Program Faculty Mentors are drawn roughly equally across our affiliated PhD programs and institutions, include all academic ranks, involve research expertise spanning the major research themes of the B2 Program, and preserve mentor gender balance in line with estimated base rates for women in cognitive neuroscience. In addition, 39% of our faculty identify as a member of an underrepresented group. B2 faculty mentors are committed to high-quality mentoring, with an average of 3 predoctoral students per lab.
B2 Program predoctoral students are mentored by a B2 Program Faculty Mentor, as well as a Co-Mentor. All B2 trainees are expected to do a rotation in a lab outside the primary mentor's laboratory to broaden their training experience and to learn new skills.
