Studying abroad at CMU is an ideal opportunity for Linguistics students to gain foreign language skills and experience.


Linguistics students have the opportunity to do internships in a vast array of fields all over the world. Our department and the Career & Professional Development Center are here to support our students who wish to pursue an internship.

The annual Dietrich Undergraduate Colloquium (DUC) was designed to allow Dietrich College undergraduates the opportunity to experience presenting research in a low-stakes setting.
