Bio
My research focuses on postcolonial English speakers and their use of language as a tool for resistance and placemaking in contested socioeconomic contexts. This perspective of critical applied linguistics explores the speaker's language ideologies, investment and identities. Beyond contributing to the wider academic knowledge, my research aims to promote linguistic equity and social justice.
