Research Opportunities

We believe that research experience is an essential part of undergraduate education in psychology, and there are a lot of opportunities to contribute to psychological science both inside and outside of the classroom. Because of our small size, you can begin working directly with faculty members in a research laboratory as early as your freshman year.

Research experience will allow you to apply what you have learned in your coursework and gain problem solving, teamwork, and analytical skills.  These skills continue to make our graduates highly competitive for scholarships, fellowships, graduate programs, laboratory positions, and a multitude of careers.

We encourage you to explore the following opportunities:

Become a Research Assistant

Apply for an Undergraduate Research Grant

Complete an Internship or Teaching Assistantship

Complete a Senior Thesis
