Bio

Anjali Nair serves as the Title IX and Community Standards Investigator, jointly with the Office for Institutional Equity and Title IX and the Office of Community Standards and Integrity. Anjali has extensive experience investigating car accident, personal injury and property damage cases as part of her work as an insurance defense attorney for a law firm and later a national insurance company.  She represented individuals accused of causing such injuries in civil litigation in federal and state courts, as well as in alternative dispute resolution.  Anjali is an excellent researcher and writer, having served as a research editor on a law journal and as a legal writing teaching assistant while in law school. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, summa cum laude, in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Administration of Justice, and then graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2010. Anjali also earned the School of Law Community Service Award for her role in a voter protection program during the 2008 Presidential Election.
