Mission Statement

It is our mission to provide high quality parking and transportation resources to the University community.  With a focus on well-maintained, safe, and secure areas, we aim to be responsive and provide effective and efficient customer service. 

Our administrative office is located in the East Campus Garage, directly across from the Forbes Avenue garage entrance.  We are open Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM.

Garage Rate Changes Effective July 1, 2019

Rate changes for Carnegie Mellon University visitor parking garages will increase  July 1, 2019.  Visit the information section for the new rates.

Please remember that there is no overnight parking for transient parking.  Only lease holders may park their vehicles in the garages overnight with their current hang tag displayed.

The East Campus Garage elevator is currently being replaced.  The first floor is reserved for handicap individuals.  Please be advised this is enforced 24 hours, seven days a week.  If you need assistance with mobility due to the elevator being out of service, please contact our office, 412-268-2052.

P&TS is Updating Vehicle Records

If you currently have a parking permit, you will be receiving an email from us requesting you to verify your vehicle information.  If you have any questions, please email our office.

East Campus Garage Replacement

  • Jun 5 The East Campus Garage elevator will be replaced. This project is expected to last eight weeks, at which time the elevator will not be available. The first floor in the garage will have additional disabled spaces to accommodate guests. If you have an immediate concern, please contact our office, or Michelle Porter directly.

SHUTTLE RIDER ALERT - Due to a construction project at Morewood Gardens, the Morewood Avenue Turn-Around will be closed from May 22 – August 7th. During this time, the A Shuttle and A/B Shuttle will pick up riders on Forbes Avenue in front of 4615 Forbes Avenue, GATF Building. The B shuttle will start each run at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Morewood Avenue.  The PTC Shuttle will pick up riders in front of the Cohon University Center.
