Riding the bus? Make Sure Your CMU ID is Valid

Effective Jan. 1, 2019, Carnegie Mellon University students, faculty and staff using Port Authority Transit (PAT) must make sure their IDs are valid to take advantage of the free PAT transportation benefit offered by the University. Beginning Jan. 1, PAT drivers will no longer manually override CMU IDs that are registering as invalid. Individuals presenting invalid IDs must pay the full fare or exit the vehicle.

Parking for Peanut Butter a Huge Success

The 2nd Annual Parking For Peanut Butter campaign collected a total of 444.5 pounds of peanut butter! Our goal this year was 500 pounds, and next year we hope to surpass this goal. Parking & Transportation Services thanks everyone involved in making this year's campaign a HUGE success.

AY18-19 Transportation Tax Changes

The Federal Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 (the Act), which went into effect on January 1, 2018, will have a wide variety of effects on individuals and organizations. For instance, some individuals may see changes, favorable or unfavorable, in their federal tax withholding. Morewood Parking Lot Requires Gate Proxy Card

As the David A. Tepper Quadrangle (The Tepper Quad) nears completion, the Morewood Parking Lot has also transformed. The gates at the newly-configured lot will operate with a proximity (proxy) card reader and a unique proxy card to gain lot access.
