NEW SUMMER COURSE! "A Voice From Ukraine: A Live Interview With A Resident of Kyiv" by Bill Greenspan

Please join this special course event where Osher at CMU study leader Bill Greenspan will interview his friend, Aleksander Pustovoyt, via Zoom from Kyiv, Ukraine.  Those attending will have the opportunity to submit questions about the Ukrainian war, living in Ukraine, etc. to Bill to prior to the class.  To submit a question, please send it to Bill at wgreensp@hotmail.com by Monday, June 20.

Aleksander Pustovoyt was born in Kyiv.  He is the former President of the Ukrainian Olympic Luge Federation (2004 to 2012).  Currently he is the director of the nonprofit Center for Rehabilitation People with Disabilities called "Hope Island".  He himself is disabled from a fall during a competitive lunge career.  He is married and has one son.

Since Aleksander does not speak English, Bill Greenspan will be the translator and moderator.  Bill was born in Kyiv and emigrated to the United States in the late 1970s.  Bill has been teaching for us since the fall of 2017.
