Axios Expert Voice Feature: How cities are cutting down on light pollution

Metro21’s Executive Director, Karen Lightman, dives into issue of light pollution in her latest Expert Voice article with Axios.

In the article Karen describes why light pollution matters, including how it can harm the environment, human health and the global ecosystem. The good news is, with a little cooperation, innovation and infrastructure investment, light pollution is reversible. Karen also describes what cities like Pittsburgh, PA and Middletown, OH are doing to reduce light pollution.
