Start networking with CMU alumni to make connections in DC

Join the Institute for Politics and Strategy LinkedIn Page 

Use the LinkedIn people search to find CMU alumni working at organizations of interest:

  1. On your LinkedIn homepage, click on the search bar and then click "People"
  2. In the menu bar that appears, click "All Filters"
  3. Add any companies that interest you to the "current and past companies" checkboxes
  4. Under school, type in Carnegie Mellon University and make sure the box is checked
  5. Hit "search" and you'll see all of the CMU alums working at the companies you're interested in! 
  6. Send direct messages and add new contacts to build your network
