Orientation Schedule & Required Registration Form

Dear Incoming Graduate Students,

We are pleased to share the full schedule of events for University-Wide New Graduate Student Orientation, which will be held on the Pittsburgh campus on August 11, 12, and 13. The schedule can be accessed on our website.

These events have been planned in partnership with university leadership, colleagues across campus, and graduate student representatives. We are excited to welcome you to the Carnegie Mellon community and provide important information to help you transition into your studies, the university, and the city of Pittsburgh.

Attendance at orientation is not mandatory, but it is strongly recommended. Please note that due to the session formats, we are not able to record or live-stream the majority of the programs.

So that we can plan for your participation, please fill out this required registration form, whether or not you plan to attend orientation. Please submit the form as soon as possible, but no later than July 31.
