I am a PhD student in Rhetoric in CMU's English Department. My current focus of study is in public political discourse, with an eye towards investigating the discriminatory logics used in politics (and how one might productively challenge those logics). In the past I have taught courses in Communications, Rhetorical Theory, and Transnational Feminisms at Syracuse University, as well as completed four years of work as a writing tutor in various capacities. As a tutor, I am passionate about helping students build their confidence as academics and make a place for themselves in the university through their writing.
