I am a Ph.D. candidate in Literary and Cultural Studies. I study Shakespeare alongside history, political economy, media studies, postcolonial studies, ecology, and gender studies. I have been the assistant director for the Pittsburgh Consortium of Medieval and Renaissance for three years and remain an active member of the English department through the LCS Colloquium committee and other areas of service. I enjoy teaching Interpretation and Argument (76-101), Shakespeare, and working closely with students and tutees to improve the clarity, cohesion, and depth of their writing.
