Bio

I am a Ph.D. student in Literary and Cultural Studies. I study 20th- and 21st-century Caribbean literature with an emphasis on transnational Caribbean identities. I hold a B.A. from Bucknell University and an M.A. from the University of Virginia. While at Virginia, I was a tutor at the Writing Center and worked with undergraduates from various academic disciplines. Prior to coming to CMU, I worked in online sales and social media marketing for an antiques resale e-business. I’m excited to help CMU students from across all disciplines and at all levels of study hone the communication skills needed for their academic and professional success.
