Guidance for Using S3 Memos
In support of the S3 MyCommunity initiative, which is intended to support the student/advisor relationship, student retention, and on-time program completion, the S3 Memos feature may be used to:
- Support consistent note-taking and appropriate information sharing across units and with advisors
- Improve record-keeping for academic advising matters
- Eliminate the need for note-taking “gray systems” such as excel spreadsheets and paper files
- Complement existing S3 student records features
- Contribute to improved advising capabilities and best practices for advisors
