Next S3 Training & Update is October 8

Mark your calendars for the next S3 training and "town hall" update scheduled for Tuesday, October 8 in McConomy Auditorium. This three-part session will feature the following:

PART 1: S3 New User Training (9 to 9:40 AM)

New users of the S3 will learn about the S3 suite of applications, how to get started with using the S3 Admin Console, and other basic tips.

PART 2: S3 Town Hall Update (9:45 to 10:30 AM)

Chris Nolin, Director of Enrollment Systems, will share details about the latest features in S3, including the SIO redesign and ADA compliance improvements, as well as MyCommunity-related news and what to expect over the next 3 to 6 months.

PART 3: S3 Memos Training (10:45 to 11:30 AM)

Learn how to add, view, edit, format, and comment on a memo attached to an individual student's S3 record, as well as view who will have permission to see memos on a student's S3 record. You will also learn how to share memos, and sort, search and filter memos for students whose record you have access to view. This training is for S3 users who were unable to attend the memos training held July 30.

Please RSVP for these sessions by Thursday, October 3.

If you plan on attending the training sessions, it may be helpful to bring a laptop so you can follow along. If you're unable to attend, view the user guides available on the S3 Project website. Additional trainings and updates will be scheduled for spring 2020 - stay tuned to the website for details, or follow @CarnegieMellonS3 on Facebook and Instagram or @S3CMU on Twitter.
