Bio

I am interested in how the brain focuses on specific speech amidst distractors, yet remains able to flexibly switch attention. I investigate the spatial and temporal representations of top-down attention and bottom-up attentional capture, and how they interact. To address these questions, I integrate behavioral paradigms with neuroimaging techniques and computational modeling.
