Bio

I study how humans perceive and understand spoken language. I conduct research examining how our knowledge (about our native language, environment, or conversational partner) interacts with unfolding acoustic information, impacting the speech sounds we actually perceive during conversations. My work focuses on how perception changes over time, using a variety of temporally sensitive methods such as eye-tracking, mouse-tracking, and computational models.

I previously completed my MS in Psychology at Villanova University under Dr. Joseph Toscano, as well as my BA in Psychology and Linguistics at the University of Iowa, summa cum laude.
