Bio

Ben is a current Ph.D. student in Neural Computation. He started in Fall 2021 after earning his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Rochester in New York in 2021. Ben is interested in the relationship between peripheral and central processing in the auditory system, and the way that our brains process sound to make sense of the world around us. His goal is to use this knowledge to improve existing hearing technologies, and to design new techniques to advance hearing medicine. Ben is a yoga/meditation nut, is passionate about great music and classic literature, and has been known to hold his cats like babies.
