Bio

Hello, my name is Alex! I went to Boston University to receive my undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering. Now I’m a PhD student in electrical and computer engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. I’m currently investigating the role of neural oscillations in auditory attention. We are using transcranial alternating current stimulation to stimulate the parietal lobe electrical current to see if we can impair/improve people’s ability to filter out distracting sounds.
