  • Part-time RA positions to conduct online experiments aimed at understanding the cognitive architecture of language production in the human brain are available. For details, see https://www.cmu.edu/dietrich/psychology/nozarilab/ra_for_online_experiments.html.
  • A full-time RA position is available between our lab and Dr. Anna Fisher's lab. The scope of the work is studying the development of language in children. Candidates with a BA, BS, MA, or MS in cognitive psychology or a related field and some experience in a cognitive or developmental lab are encouraged to apply.
  • A 2-year postdoctoral position is available for studying language production and monitoring. Candidates with EEG, fMRI, or computational backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  • Part-time research opportunities (volunteer or for course credit) are available for research during summer and throughout the semester for undergraduate students. Projects range from online experiments on studying the cognitive architecture of typing behavior in humans to working with data from individuals with brain damage to better understand how the brain processes language. Students with programming backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.
