Bio
Emanuele Stefanori joined the Department of Languages, Cultures & Applied Linguistics at Carnegie Mellon as an adjunct lecturer of Italian in January 2025, after earning a Ph.D. in Romance Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His dissertation focused on the role of technology in Italian crime fiction. During his time at UNC Chapel Hill, Stefanori taught Italian language courses at all levels, as well as courses on Italian culture and cinema. In 2022, he also served as a sisiting instructor of Italian at the College of William & Mary.
