The Computing Services Help Center offers support for Timeshares Linux. Please review the level of support below.

Supported Operating Systems

Level of Support

Ubuntu Linux is supported on Timeshares Linux. Basic connectivity support is also provided to connect to the campus network. The Computing Services Help Center does not perform operating system installations, repairs or restores and does not install software.

Hardware & Peripherals:
Computing Services does not support specific hardware, peripherals, installation or the configuration of such devices. In most cases, hardware devices should be "plug & play," and/or should have appropriate software and support provided by the vendor.

Printing:
Due to the variety of printers available, Computing Services limits support for printing from Linux to Computing Services public printers. Visit Campus Printing for more information.

Network Connections:
Network services for Linux should be configured using the instructions provided on the Network Access pages.
