Doherty Apartments Demolition:

The Doherty Apartment Building demolition is underway. The building demolition will be ongoing till August 31st, 2020. Site work completion and demobilization activities will continue until mid-September 2020.

The Forbes Beeler residence hall new construction has been delayed untill Spring 2021.

Fifth Clyde Residence Hall and Commons:

The Fifth/Clyde Residence Hall and Commons is currently under construction.  Students are tentatively planned for move in during August 2021.  The residence hall is the first to be built on CMU’s campus in over 15 year, and is comprised of a variety of suite and semi-suite rooms.  It is currently trending toward a LEED Gold certification.  The building will also feature a Commons area, where students can gather around a fireplace to relax or use music rooms to practice with their friends.
