Urban Innovation21 Announces Winners of $100K Grant Competition for Tech
Startups, Supports Point Park University’s First Tech Spinout
Urban Innovation is boosting the local economy by awarding $275K in grants to small
businesses this calendar year. Tech startups located in the Pittsburgh Central Keystone
Innovation Zone (PCKIZ) will tap into $100K to advance their efforts.

The following companies will be awarded:

  • Rubitection, Inc; $25,000
  • Embedded Energy Technology, LLC; $25,000
  • ActivAided Orthotics; $15,000
  • RentJungle, LLC dba Community Elf; $15,000
  • HeadRight Games, LLC; $15,000
  • Birdbrain Labs, LLC dba Trincula’s Attic; $5,000

Without requesting any type of dividends or equity, Urban Innovation21 appeals to social
