Tepper Magazine Spring 2023

We’re pleased to share the latest alumni magazine of Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business, now live online. The Tepper Magazine Spring 2023 issue includes a range of content from stories of donor impact and Tepper School news to alumni highlights and class notes.

The featured story, The Hybrid Workplace Evolution, explores the new opportunities for flexibility, inclusivity, and productivity that emerged when the COVID pandemic challenged the way we performed our jobs.

In the Tepper Digest section, you’ll learn about an Executive Education program that leverages artificial intelligence for better health care, and a new Energy and Sustainability track available to students in the MBA program.

A profile on alumna Cynthia Wang (MSCF 1997, MSIA 1997) follows her unconventional path to a climate change think tank while a Q&A with Anish Shah (Ph.D. 1996) reflects on the impact the Tepper School has had on his life and work. Bill Lambert (MSIA 1990), the Chair of the Business Board of Advisors, shares his thoughts on a mission-driven career.

This issue also explores the generosity of friendship and fellowship in the class of 1987, a Carnegie Mellon family legacy, and a fellowship for veterans.

Additionally, the magazine celebrates the newest members of the Tepper School’s Business Board of Advisors and the Alumni Board as well as the recipients of the 2022 Alumni Awards.
