Tepper Magazine: Winds of Change

In the latest issue of Tepper Magazine [pdf], our cover feature, “Winds of Change,” profiles Isabelle Bajeux-Besnainou, the 10th dean of the Tepper School of Business. Dean Bajeux shares, “There is a huge effort we have to make in communicating to the business world and to prospective students everywhere that we have the right positioning and strengths. I want the world to know that Tepper is the business school of the future.”

The Enterprising Leaders column features alumni entrepreneurs sharing their experiences throughout the entrepreneurial process. Featured alumni include:

  • Asha Banks (MBA 2020), founder and CEO of Cheernotes.
  • Brenden van Buren (MSIA 2017), founder and operator-in-residence of Generational Transfer Entrepreneurs and president of Pro Max Fence Systems, LLC.
  • Kate Xiong (MSIA 2004), co-founder and CEO of Patch, Inc. Global. 

Alumni features include Collaborative Partner with Edward “Ted” Decker (MSIA 1993), executive vice president of merchandising at The Home Depot, and Service Leadership with Mary Beth Green (MBA 2004), chief innovation officer for Sheetz.

Versatile Pathfinder explores Vertex EVP and chief patient officer Amit Sachdev’s (BSIM 1990) career path from studying finance and data analysis at Carnegie Mellon to helping bring hepatitis C, cystic fibrosis, and hopefully Type 1 diabetes and sickle cell disease treatments to the world.
