Amanda Chisholm is an alumna of Carnegie Mellon University who studied Chemistry with an additional major in Environmental and Sustainability Studies. Through the ESS program, Amanda was able to take a great variety of courses from many different schools and departments here at CMU. This helped her explore her interests in different academic fields such as science, engineering, policy, anthropology, geography, and architecture. Out of all the courses Amanda has taken, one of her favorites is Un-Natural Disasters: Societies and Environmental Hazards in Global Perspective with Noah Theriault, an assistant professor in History. After graduation, Amanda will be pursuing a master's degree in Green Chemistry or Environmental Science in the UK.
