Steinbrenner Institute U.S. Environmental Sustainability PhD Fellowships

The Steinbrenner Institute has several awarded three-year PhD fellowships for interdisciplinary study of topics related to U.S. environmental sustainability.  With support from the Colcom Foundation, three fellowships were awarded in Fall 2011, four fellowships in Fall 2012, one fellowship in Fall 2015, and one in Fall 2016. Example research topics of the fellows include factors governing water use in the U.S., sustainability of the Los Angeles water supply, and implications of population shifts and growth on regional greenhouse gas emissions.
